Scholarship Introduction:
The cost of the Early Honors Program by Alaska Pacific University is a
consolidated fee that includes orientation, tuition, and activities for the
year. Books and lab fees are not included. Amounts listed are for the 2009-2010
academic year and are subject to change.

Eligibility for
scholarship:
Early Honors students are not eligible for federal or state aid, Alaska Pacific

Scholarship Introduction
To assist you in pursuing an Argosy University education, we are pleased to
offer several scholarship opportunities, with awards ranging from $1,000 to
$5,000 for the academic year. Our scholarships recognize outstanding student
achievement in a variety of areas:
Eligibility for scholarship:

Students must have applied for admission
at an Argosy University
campus.

Students must be degree seeking.
§
Students must be enrolled at least
half-time although

Kentucky Scholarship 2010 in Alice Lloyd College, USA -2010
Scholarship Introduction:
Alice Lloyd College’s first objective in carrying out its purpose is the
provision of an exceptional education to qualified mountain students
regardless of financial ability. Therefore, no qualified applicant should
fail to attend the College due to financial constraints. The College
maintains a guaranteed tuition policy for residents of 108 central
Appalachian counties (PDF/25KB). Full-time students from within this
territory will have their cost of education met by a combination of grants,
scholarships and participation in the Student Work Program.
Eligibility for scholarship:
Each individual student will qualify for grants/scholarships based upon their
Expected Family Contribution. The Expected Family Contribution is reported to
the school by the U. S. Federal Government through your FAFSA. Contact the
Financial Aid Office to discuss what grants/scholarships you qualify for.
How to apply:
To receive financial aid at Alice Lloyd College and to apply for any
scholarships or grants, students are required to adhere to the following
procedures:
1. File an application for admission with the Alice Lloyd

(FAFSA). Failure to file the FAFSA by February 15 may result in the loss of

The Office of Enrollment Management assists students in creating a financial

Introduction:
The President’s Scholarship recognizes first-year students of exceptional
academic ability with strong evidence of leadership potential. Eleven
scholarships are awarded for amounts ranging from $18,500 up to full tuition.
Eligibility for
scholarship:
To qualify for this scholarship, students must have a 3.5 or higher GPA in
their core courses OR a 27 or greater ACT composite (or a combined SAT score of
1210 or greater). The scholarship is renewable for three years, based on
academic performance. Award decisions are based on academic criteria, letters
of academic recommendation, leadership activities, academic essays, and an
on-campus interview. To receive this award, qualified students are required to
live on campus and to participate in Augsburg’s Honors Program.Applicants are
encouraged to apply for additional scholarships for which they qualify, but if
a President’s Scholarship is awarded, the applicant cannot receive any other Augsburg
scholarship.NOTE: Students who receive a President’s Scholarship are not
eligible for any other Augsburg scholarship.

Scholarships and Grants 2010- Cabrini College, USA
Scholarship
Introduction:
Cabrini College Achievement Scholarship, Achievement Grant, and Challenge
Grant.
Grants and scholarships may be based on academic merit or financial need or
both. These awards are considered “gift aid” and do not need to be repaid by
the student. These are Cabrini College academic merit awards may also be
available for incoming transfer students. All applicants to the College
are considered. Award amounts may be reduced for students who do not live
in on-campus housing.
Eligibility for
scholarship:
For incoming students based on their high school GPA and SAT scores.
Students must be registered as full-time (12 or more credits per semester).
Students receiving Achievement Scholarships must maintain a cumulative 2.0 GPA
each year to continue to be eligible.
Students receiving the Achievement Grants and Challenge Grants must maintain a
cumulative 2.0 GPA.
